Course Description
Prerequisite: None. This is the first of two courses that teaches theory, service and repair of automotive braking systems. The course provides an overview of various hydraulic and mechanical brake systems used on today’s automobiles. In the course students will learn the correct usage of brake machining equipment, precise measuring techniques, and proper procedures in a comprehensive hands-on hydraulic brakes lab environment.
