Course Description
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in ENGL 115, ENGL 103W, ENGL 103, or ENGL 104, or English placement test score (Level 2 or higher). Concurrent enrollment in ENGL 115 allowed. This course shall explore the historical development, power/jurisdictions and current issues pertaining to the courts in the United States. Further, this course will analyze the effectiveness of traditional techniques used by the courts, prosecution and defense in the judiciary processes at both the state and federal levels.
