Course Description
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in MATH 128 or satisfactory math test score (Level 3 or higher). Provides the elementary teacher with a minimum foundation in the structure of arithmetic. Includes problem solving techniques, sets, relations, and bases, the properties of natural numbers, integers, rational, and real numbers. Includes selected topics in number theory and algebra.
