Course Description
Prerequisite: Formal admission to the MRI program is required. This is the first in a series of two courses that provide the MRI student with a basic foundation of MRI physics. Students will explore the properties of atoms and their interactions within the magnetic field. Emphasis will be placed on the basic principles of MRI, data acquisition, and tissues characteristics in image formation. [Semester Offered: Fall ]
