Course Description
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in MUSI 102. A study of the evolution of harmonic and melodic materials in Western Europe from the late 16th century through the 18th century. Emphasis is placed on analysis of music composed during this period, as well as short composition assignments. Concurrent enrollment in MUSI 205 required for music majors. [Semesters Offered: Fall]
