Course Description
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in PHYS 201. A calculus based physics course providing an introduction to the principles of static and dynamic electricity and magnetism, D.C. and A.C. circuits, electromagnetic waves, reflection and refraction of light, interference and diffraction of light, relativity and an introduction to modern physics. Emphasizes problem-solving methods. Recommended for engineering and physics majors. [Semesters Offered: Spring]
